Sara Morgan is a mixed media artist working with wax, ink, pastel, watercolour, printmaking, pencil, and photography. Having taught visual arts for many years Morgan says, ‘creating is as essential as breathing’. Her artmaking explores texture and the illusion of form and space. Morgan’s mixed media work repeatedly captures the subject within the one image, each medium successfully recreating a different element of the subject.
I cannot commit to one style of art making so I abandoned any attempt.
Sara also works as a Visual Arts High School Teacher with 19 years of experience. She has taught in many areas across New South Wales and is currently living and working in the Macleay Valley on the mid north coast, country of the Dhunghutti people.
